GRAPHIA

2025–2027 ongoing Innovation and exploitation, WP6 with Industry Commons Foundation, OPERAS

A Horizon Europe project building the first comprehensive knowledge graph for the social sciences and humanities, with AI services and next-generation research instruments.

GRAPHIA, in full “Knowledge Graphs, AI Services and Next Generation Instrumentation for Research and Development in Social Sciences and Humanities”, is a Horizon Europe research infrastructure project running from January 2025 to December 2027. Coordinated by OPERAS in Brussels with an EU contribution of around €8.2 million, it brings five European research infrastructures for the social sciences and humanities together with industry partners to build something the field has never had: a single, comprehensive knowledge graph of SSH research, enriched with AI and large language model tools, an SSH Citation Index, and a new generation of research instruments built on top of it.

The Industry Commons Foundation is a partner in the consortium, responsible for innovation management: the exploitation strategy and IP management, the industry outreach and commercialisation work including a call for pilots, and contributions to the project’s legal and ethical rulebook. Dubber manages that work package, co-authored the project’s dissemination and exploitation plan, runs the project’s web presence, and co-organises the Innovation Prototyping Labs through which GRAPHIA’s tools meet industry and the research community in week-long collaborative labs.
